Our expert instructor time and guidance plus all equipment including XL board, paddles, leashes, wetsuits, buoyancy aids & helmets.

How long is the paddle party?

We aim for 1-1.5hrs but the experience can be quite tiring, and children cool quite quickly, so we work with the dynamics of the group.

Can adults join in?

We all know that child at heart person, who loves to get down with the kids, so yes it is absolutely fine for adults to join in.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of participants required?

Our paddle parties are suitable for 10-18 participants.

What kind of activities will they be doing during the party?

We try to tailor the activities to the requirements of the group, but we have previously tried:

AND LOADS MORE!

What is the age limit for participating children?

The minimum age for participation is 8 years.

What safety measures are in place to ensure the children's safety?

We have experienced and qualified instructors who are trained in paddle boarding.

Our instructors conduct a safety briefing before every session to go over the safety measures in place and ensure that participants are comfortable and confident on the water.

We also provide participants with appropriate personal flotation devices (PFDs) that are properly fitted and in good condition. In addition, we risk assess based on the individual, the weather, and water conditions to ensure the safest possible experience for everyone.

Our instructors are all DBS checked and we also have our AALA licence; a licence awarded to companies thats provide adventure activities and have passed a vigorous health and safety audit.

Are the children required to have prior paddle boarding experience?

No, for groups up to 10 we tend to keep everyone on our XL board, and our instructors will provide a safety brief and guidance to ensure the safety of the group.

What happens in case of bad weather or unfavourable water conditions?

Keeping an eye on the weather is one of our daily tasks, so in the event that we must cancel we will let you know in advance. Please note, we will only cancel sessions for your safety.

In the case we do have to cancel your session, we will aim to reschedule the session at the earliest possibility, or if you prefer we can give you a refund (within 30 days).

Will the children receive any instructions or training before the paddle boarding party experience?

Yes, our instructors will provide all of the training and guidance to the group.

Are refreshments and snacks included in the cost?

No, but you are welcome to bring your own. Why not plan a beach picnic?

What time should we arrive?

Please allow 30 minutes before the start of the party, to allow the children to get changed and ready.

What should they wear under their wetsuits?

Either swim pants, shorts, a swimsuit, or bikini.
